Wiikly Release 01/11

Another week, another handful of games to take up space at your local retailer's "Wii" section. But that’s not to say we don’t have at least… one worthy mention! Sure its a re-release, port, New Play Control, type shindig, but we'll take what we can get; cause we're cool like that. Ah, it sure is great to be back.

North America
The biggest release of the week is obviously The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces because it has the longest title; and anyone that disagrees with me is wrong. For those of you who enjoy a good story and haven’t played Pheonix Wright yet, they should be happy to know it’s now available on WiiWare for a nice low price of 1000 Wii Nintendo Points. Oh 2010, how I love thee.

Maybe we will see Metroid Prime Hunters on WiiWare one day. Man that would rock.

I dunno. Some games just can't be transported from the DS to the Wii effectively.
Phoenix Wright is basically a point-and-click adventure game. It works well.

I'm more content with having the DS cartridge, though (which I do), as it's portable. :3

I don't really play Hunters anywhere but at home. Plus I mostly use it for multiplayer.

I was considering buying Phoenix Wright off of the VC today, but I have found my original copy for the DS today, that I got for slightly more than what they're offering here.

Has this been happening a lot recently then? Releasing DS games on Wii? or is it the GBA version?
