Metroid Prime Trilogy Boxart Shown

Just spied this and figured it'd be worth posting up, interesting to note the orange "Collector's Edition" label across it. It may not end up amounting to anything, but this may or may not open up the possibilities of extra features. Maybe even that playable build of Metroid: Other M that Sakamoto talked about? It probably won't be, but this may be something to keep an eye on leading up to its release in a couple of months.

What we do know, is that its a great time for Metroid fans everywhere over the last few weeks.

I agree it looks pretty blah. But I think it looks better than the rubbish that we got for Prime 1 and 3. Prime 2 sorta cover would have worked for me. But I'll accept this anyway.

I agree. I just don't like the orange bar or the arm-cannon fire in the middle.

Some one should elaborate on that fan-made box art and make a printable version for this. I'd use that.

I could do without the orange collector's edition logo, but I think it looks cool.

Eh. Not interested in this box art. Why would you put a colour like ORANGE over that?! (Aside from the fact that it's bad enough having a bar over the box.)

That box art is absolutely incredible, whoever did that has some serious skills.

The problem with that box art is, even though it looks really cool, it has no relevance to Metroid's art style.

If you dont look hard enough you cant even tell its Samus, Maybe I'll just print out the Fanart one, Because when you compare them you know somebody is going to put in the right size and everything for easy printing.

Nintendo needs some good artists or something because that boxart is lame. On the other hand, the fan-made one is pretty damn awesome. Yeah, Nintendo, sort it out.
