I wonder how easy it will be to do a speed attack with Sonic and fall of the platform

I gotta agree with Badwong on the Mega man thing, I think he could be pretty cool.

the only problem I have with MegaMan is that he could too easily become a Samus clone. Which MegaMan would be used for Brawl? EXE or old school MegaMan?

Whichever was present on the NES/SNES.

Throw in Rush/Medbots and stolen enemy skills ala' Kirby, and you'd have an odd hybrid character.

The other NES/SNES champion was Simon Belmont. I'd feel he'd have an original moveset, with his Whip and assortment of sub-items.

Just because he has an arm cannon doesn't mean he can be a clone. Other than the arm cannon the two have nothing else in common.

holy crap. it happened. it finally happened... I'm not a huge Sonic fan or anything, but I've been waiting for the day that Sonic and Mario could duke it out for about 14 years (I got my first NES when I was 5 ) This update def sent tingles down my spine

Sonics rollout move is actually more effective in multi melee battle, rollyout just TOOK ONE UNSUSPECTING LONELY SOUL TO THE DEPTHS OF THE SMASH ABYSS.

Sonics isn't as strong, but in a line of enemies it will damage them all. I think he will be over powered. Can he beat Peach. Hell no. Only fools fantasize beating Peach. Only Peach can beat beat, and she never wins. Unless, one of them dresssed like Daisy. Then Peach wins.

Sonic is looking mid-tier-ish. He is fast, yes. But so is C. Falcon. And like C. Falcon I just think he'll lack a strong moveset.

I mean that in comparison to the higher tier characters with rape-filled movesets like Peach, Marth, Sheik, Fox, Falco and the sort.
